Q & A with MVH Member Jeff Miller

1) Who's your favorite Husker and why?

Grant Wistrom, MOTOR!

2) What's your favorite Husker moment?

Fans celebrated by waving banners of old gold.  “The score stood 10 to nothing in the state university’s favor and great and loud were the yells that filled the atmosphere,“ a newspaper account said.  The date was Nov. 27, 1890.  The state university was Nebraska, which had just defeated a team representing the Omaha YMCA.  The game, composed of a 35-minute first half and a 43-minute second half, was played in Omaha.

So began Nebraska’s rich football tradition.

69-7 over Oklahoma for Osborne’s 250th career victory.  Remember watching the fireworks in person for the 250th victory.  Also memorable being at the NE vs. Baylor game when Tommy Lee performed with the percussion line.
